Setting <strong>MKS</strong> Source Policies<br />

<strong>Implementer</strong> and <strong>MKS</strong> Source Integration<br />

<strong>MKS</strong> Source policies at the global level. You can set the policies by using the <strong>MKS</strong> Integrity<br />

<strong>Administration</strong> Client as illustrated in the following task, or by editing the si.policy file<br />

located in the default installation directory C:/Program Files/<strong>MKS</strong> IntegrityServer/<br />

config/policies.<br />

<strong>Administration</strong> <strong>Guide</strong>.<br />

To edit <strong>MKS</strong> Source policies using the <strong>MKS</strong> Integrity <strong>Administration</strong> Client<br />

1 Open the <strong>MKS</strong> Integrity <strong>Administration</strong> Client.<br />

2 Click to expand the <strong>MKS</strong> Source node.<br />

3 Click to highlight the Policies section. The Global Policies section displays in the right<br />

pane.<br />

4 Highlight Global Policies in the right display pane.<br />

5 Select Policies > Edit. The policy editor displays the policy section you selected.<br />

TIP To edit global policies, you can also open the shortcut menu by highlighting Global<br />

Policies in the right pane, right clicking, and selecting Edit. To edit project policies,<br />

choose the project in the right pane, right click, and select Edit. If the projects are not<br />

listed, right click and select Create, and then select the appropriate project.<br />

To display the global policies that are set for the <strong>MKS</strong> Integrity Server, double click<br />

to expand the Global Policies section in the right pane.<br />
