F6=State setup allows you to create a new promotion path entry on the
MKS Integrity State Setup panel. It may be helpful to review “Manage States and
State-based Capabilities” on page 208 before creating a new promotion path entry.
IMPORTANT After adding a new *QAC path, you must update with the new state
capabilities for Implementer to check for by running F8=Configure MKS Integrity.
Then use MKS Integrity State Setup to assign the Implementer capabilities to the
appropriate states.
3 Type option 2=Change next to the promotion path, and press ENTER. The MKS Integrity
State Detail panel displays.
4 Complete this panel as described in the following table, and press ENTER.
Field Description
MKS Integrity State Detail Field Descriptions
Promotion path entry Location on the promotion path the state is being set for. When adding a
new path entry, the value defaults to the next *QAC environment and
cannot be changed.
Description Description about the path level.
Issue state Issue state to assign when an item is in this promotion path location.
Must be a valid state in MKS Integrity.
For a *TST entry, the state is set in check out. For a *QAC or *PRD entry,
the state is set after successful promotion. If the value is left blank, the
issue state remains unchanged.
