Implementer and MKS Integrity Integration
Performing MKS Integrity State Setup requires a user profile that has authority to System
Control Maintenance. The administrator typically performs this task when setting up the
integration. Thereafter, you use it only to change a path’s issue state or to add or delete *QAC
states. When you create a promotion path entry or change an issue state in Implementer, the
issue state is validated in MKS Integrity.
To configure promotion path entries with issue states
1 From the Implementer Menu, type option 47, MKS Integrity, and press ENTER, or issue
the command STRIM *INTMGRSET. The MKS Integrity Setup panel displays.
2 Press F6=State setup. The MKS Integrity State Setup panel displays.
The actions you can perform on this panel are as follows.
Option 2=Change allows you to change the issue state to assign during the various
stages of development. For each default promotion path entry you use, you must
define the issue state to assign to an issue when the issue is in this state. To complete
this task, proceed directly to step 3 page 234.
Option 4=Delete allows to remove the last user-defined *QAC path entry. For
example, if paths *QAC2, *QAC3, and *QAC4 exist, you must delete *QAC4 before
deleting *QAC3 is allowed. Deleting any other promotion path type is not allowed.
Option 5=Display allows you to view state detail for a path.
