Chapter 5: MKS Integrity Integration 230 Field Description Server cleanup frequency Number of minutes Implementer waits between the end of an MKS Integrity transaction and when the transaction is cleared from the database. MKS Integrity user ID User ID used for all communication between Implementer Server and MKS Integrity Server. This must be the same user ID as described and specified in “Configuring MKS Integrity Server ACLs” on page 205. This user ID is also used by the IUPDCI command to post updates back to MKS Integrity Server. Field entry is case sensitive; the case specified in MKS Integrity must be specified here. Password Password of the MKS Integrity user ID specified in the previous field and required for all communications between Implementer Server and MKS Integrity Server. Non display field that displays as blank when typing the password value. Description field User-defined issue description field within MKS Integrity, for example, Summary. Contents of this field displays as the long description for an issue on Implementer panels. Entry in this field is optional. Case specified in MKS Integrity must be specified here. The field must be type Long Text. Implementer project field For Implementer project tracking in MKS Integrity, specify the name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that contains the Implementer project field. The case usage specified here must match the case usage applied to the field in MKS Integrity. This field value must be defined in MKS Integrity as Short Text or Pick data type with a maximum length of seven characters (the field name can be longer). Any project values in MKS Integrity must be added manually to Implementer. After selecting an issue in Implementer using F4=Prompt, the appropriate project field populates with the value from MKS Integrity. The project reference displays on select Implementer panels, for example, the Workbench and Work with Objects. iSeries notify user The iSeries user profile to notify when the state of the connection to MKS Integrity changes to either available or unavailable. User is also notified with the results of the update process when you run a synchronization using F9=Apply pending changes. Allow co-existence with DesignTracker MKS Integrity Setup Field Descriptions Indicates if co-existence with DesignTracker is enabled. The field is read only and only applicable if MKS Integrity is the default issue tracking system. For details on co-existence, see “Converting From DesignTracker to MKS Integrity” on page 243. Last allowed DR number Applicable only if DesignTracker co-existence is enabled. Specify the last valid design request number when DesignTracker co-existence is enabled. Any DR/Issue number higher than the specified number is considered an MKS Integrity issue.
Field Description Release Management Field Mapping Implementer and MKS Integrity Integration Define the following fields to use MKS Integrity and the release management features of Implementer. For details, see the MKS Implementer 2006 Release Management Guide. Release Management Active? MKS Integrity Setup Field Descriptions Specify Y to use the release management features of Implementer with MKS Integrity. Activation of this feature requires a value in each of the remaining fields. Issue type to create Type of issue to create in MKS Integrity for each release you create in release management. You must define this release type in MKS Integrity specifically for release management use. Deleted release state Issue state to assign to an issue when the corresponding release is deleted from Implementer (the issue is not deleted). Related issues field Type of relationship to add to the corresponding release issue in MKS Integrity when a new issue is added to a release management release. Leave the field blank to create a traditional relationship type. Product field Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the product value in an issue. Field must be defined in MKS Integrity as type Long Text. Version field Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the version in an issue. Field must be defined in MKS Integrity as type Long Text. Release field Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the release value in an issue. Field must be defined in MKS Integrity as type Long Text. Release description Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the release description in an issue. Field must be defined in MKS Integrity as type Long Text. Release type Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the release type in an issue. Field must be defined in MKS Integrity as type Long Text. Release status field Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the release status in an issue. Field must be defined in MKS Integrity as type Long Text. Open date field Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the date a release was opened. Field must be defined in MKS Integrity as type Long Text. Open time field Name of the user defined field within MKS Integrity that displays the time a release was opened.
