System Requirements<br />

The system requirement for this <strong>Implementer</strong> release is OS/400 V5R1 or later, or i5/OS V5R3<br />

or later. Additional requirements may apply to using certain features or functions of<br />

<strong>Implementer</strong>. For detailed information, see the requirements described with the respective<br />

feature or function.<br />

Terms You Should Know<br />

Before you begin setting up <strong>Implementer</strong>, it is important to understand several basic terms<br />

used within the software:<br />

Starting <strong>Implementer</strong><br />

To start <strong>Implementer</strong>, use the Start <strong>Implementer</strong> (STRIM) command. To start the standard<br />

<strong>Implementer</strong> Receiver, use the Start <strong>Implementer</strong> Receiver (STRIR) command. To start the<br />

<strong>Implementer</strong> Receiver for Release Management, use the (STRIRM) command.<br />

To access a specific <strong>Implementer</strong> panel, issue any of the start commands followed by the<br />

respective keyword or menu option number. For example, to access <strong>Implementer</strong> Menu<br />

option 45, System Control Maintenance, issue the command STRIM *SYSCTLMNT or STRIM<br />

45. For a list of valid keywords, see the table page 11. You can also prompt the commands<br />

and use F4=Prompt on the OPTIONS parameter to view and select a valid keyword.<br />

If you received the <strong>Implementer</strong> product from Computer Associates and have <strong>Implementer</strong><br />

enabled for AllFusion 2E change management, the following substitutions apply:<br />

STRCM command replaces the STRIM command.<br />

STRCR command replaces the STRIR command.<br />

Library Y2SYCM replaces the default host system library name <strong>MKS</strong>IM.<br />

Library Y2SYCR replaces the default remote system library name <strong>MKS</strong>IR.
