Project-based Application Paths
You can specify an environment group on a project path. For details, see “Environment
Groups” on page 125.
You must define the project path to the project before using it in Implementer.
You cannot delete an environment that is defined on a project path.
When copying or deleting a project also copies or deletes the related path records.
For customers using the Implementer and MKS Source integration, project paths are not
available when using the Export to Implementer (ISIEXPORT) command. For details, see
“Implementer and MKS Source Integration” on page 259.
A user must have authority to override both standard and emergency paths to override a
default project path when performing standard and emergency functions. These
authorities are defined in Work with Users.
The administrator usually performs this task. Adding or changing a project path
requires authority to project maintenance and authority to host environment
maintenance.
To define a standard or emergency path for a project
1 From the Implementer Menu, type option 15, Work with Projects, and press ENTER.
The Work with Projects panel displays.
2 Type option 17=Standard Path, or option 18=Emergency Path next to the project and
press ENTER. The Environment Path panel displays.
3 To add a new path entry, press F6=Add. The Add Path Entry panel displays. The Project
field displays the name of the project you selected on the previous panel.
