Environment Overrides
Object Codes
This function allows you to work with specific object codes by environment. You can
override the object library, source file, or source library for an environment, and activate or
deactivate specific object codes. You can also override the default values that determine
whether Implementer automatically deletes source and objects when promoting from the
environment.
To work with object code overrides for environments
From Work with Object Codes, select an object code with option 7=Environment Overrides
and press ENTER. The Work with Object Code/Environment panel displays.
This panel is similar to the Change Environment Object Code Overrides panel you access
from Work with Environments—the only difference is the data sort order. This view allows
you to work with all environments for a specific object code. For information on defining this
panel, or to view all object codes for a specific environment, see “Object Code Overrides” on
page 91.
Object Codes for Third Party Integrations
Implementer supports integrations with a variety of other software vendors. For this
purpose, Implementer reserves the following object code special characteristics: ADK for
AS/SET definitions, LAN for LANSA objects, and JDE for PeopleSoft World soft coding
items.
