2 Complete this panel as defined in following table and press ENTER.
Field Description
Directory Setup Field Descriptions
Directory path Specify the full IFS directory path covered by the environment.
Implementer automatically creates the directory path for a *QAC
environment if it does not exist when a promotion targets the environment.
You must manually create directory paths for *PRD and *TST
environments.
For IFS objects located on a system running Windows NT Server, the
directory path of environments associated with the NT Server mounted
drive must begin with \QNTC, for example,
\QNTC\MKS\PRD\ACCOUNTS_PAYABLE.
Directory path owner Specify the owner of the directory. Directories managed in this environment
are owned by the user profile defined as the directory path owner.
IFS file owner Specify the owner of IFS files managed within the environment directory.
The user defined as the IFS file owner owns all objects created in the
environment directory path, including all sub-folders.
IFS objects promoted to a Windows NT Server are owned by user
SDMAUTUSR (or the user profile defined to Implementer data area
SDMAUTUSR). For details, see “Mounted Drive Support for IFS Objects”
on page 159.
IFS file archive
versions
Specify a value from 0–99 to indicate the number of archive versions to
retain when promoting objects into production.
Archive directory path Specify the full IFS path name for storing archive versions. Implementer
automatically creates the directory if it does not exist when a promotion
request targets the directory for archiving.
