Students who have obtained a Bachelor
or university diploma in Business
Administration or a related subject, or
provide proof that they have completed
a degree at a recognised Institution of
Higher Education in Austria or abroad
are judged to have satisfied the academic
entry requirements for the Master
programme in International Business and
Export Management.
minimum number of eCTs credits
required: 180.
Proof of english language
skills
All applicants who are not native
speakers of English, or who have not
completed a Bachelor programme with
at least 50% of the courses having
been taught in English, are required
to include one of the following
certificates with their applications:
n IELTS Academic Training -
minimum score: 6.0
n Cambridge Certificate - Level C1
n TOEFL iBT - minimum score 90
The IMC University of Applied Sciences
Krems will only accept certificates
obtained in the last two years.
The academic board is responsible for
checking compliance with the entry
requirements on a case-by-case basis
once the prospective student’s complete
application file has been received.

The procedure involves an admission
interview which either will take place
in Krems or will be held via Skype. The
dates for the admission interviews will be
published on the IMC Krems website.

If you wish to apply before completing
your Bachelor degree or equivalent,
please submit official confirmation from
your university of your target degree,
the scheduled final exam date and the
qualification you will obtain at the end of
your degree course. You should also add
your official transcripts of records for each
semester to your online application.

CerTifiCaTes and degrees
Applicants with international certificates,
must have their documents translated into
German or English and certified/legalised.
For detailed information regarding the
legalisation of documents please visit

all international applicants to start the
application for visa and residence permit
as soon as possible as the processing may
take up to six months.
