New Missionaries<br />

'l'he arrival in October of the Rev. and Mi's. H. F. Zierer and their<br />

children Glenroie ,and Peyton, was a happy day for us and a great day<br />

for Pangasinan. Brother and Sister Zierer are abundantly fitted for the<br />

work. The Pangasinan language section of the district will now receiye<br />

the attention it has failed to receive for several years. Already<br />

they have made much progress in the study of the 1anguage besides taking<br />

active part in the work of the district.<br />

Sunday Schools<br />

Recognizing that the Sunday School is the right arm of the church's<br />

influence, efforts have been put forth to make this branch of the work<br />

more stable. Our Sunday Schools are still doing very primitive and e;omentary<br />

work. Close supervision is needed. It is therefore hoped that·<br />

our Sunday School missionary, the Rev. A. L. Ryan, may soon return from<br />

flll'lough in order to supervise the' Sunday School movement. '<br />

Women's Work<br />

The work of the Bible Women's Training School has upheld its past<br />

record for good work, under the direction of Miss Ruth Copley and her<br />

able assistants the Misses Silveria Lueas, Dorotea Beltran, Modesta Bartolome<br />

and Saturnina Miran. But the women's work throughout the distrie.t<br />
