Povezovalni trakovi - navodila
Lashings - instructions
Pritrditev tovora s povezovalnimi trakovi na~rtujte pred transportom
tovora.
premikanje tovora v vseh smereh.
REDNI PREGLEDI: Redni pregledi so nujni. Povezovalne trakove mora
uporabi, zato morate povezovalne trakove pregledovati ves ~as uporabe.
IZLO^ITEV IZ UPORABE: Povezovalne trakove izlo~ite iz uporabe izlo~ite
- razpok in deformacij kovinskih delov (kavliji in napenjalec)
Vse zgoraj navedene po{kodbe (deformacije, zlomi, natrganine,...)
zahtevajo odstranitev povezovalnega traku iz uporabe in zamenjavo z
novim. Povezovalni trakovi imajo `ivljensko dobo do let. Po tej dobi
mora proizvajalec pregledati trakove in v kolikor so v brezhibnem stanju
Blatne trakove sperite z blagim curkov
vode in jih posu{ite na zraku. Kovinske delel narahlo naoljite, kar bo
podlaj{alo `ivljensko dobo povezovalnih trakov.
`arkov.
VZDR@EVANJE: Morebitna popravila povezovalnih trakov opravljajo pri
proizvajalcu.
katerih so navedeni izdelovalec, nosilnost in material. Popravila na spojih
niso dovoljena. Popravilo povezovalnih trakov mora biti brezhibno.
You should plan fixing of freight with fastening belts or lashings
prior to transport.
- The freight weight should not exceed the permitted load of the lashings.
- If you are using several lashings to fasten your freight, you should fix
them evenly over the freight or rather under an angle that prevents the
freight from dislodging and moving in any direction.
- Put the belt pulley into the closed position after tightening.
- You should not use any additional levers for tightening.
- Avoid any shudders or sharp movements.
- The lashings should not be tangled (there should be no knots).
- When dealing with freight with sharp edges or rough surfaces, use lashings
only if you have protected the dangerous area with lining and pads
to protect edges.
- If you are dragging the freight along the floor, the lashings should not
be underneath the freight
- The lashings should press against the freight across its entire width.
- Freight should not be loaded on to a lashing.
TEMPERATURE: Lashings from artificial fibres bearing a blue label (PES)
may be used at temperatures from - 0°C to + 00°C. This temperature
range may change in case of presence of chemicals that could damage
the lashings.
REGULAR INSPECTION: Regular inspection is vital. Lashings must be
checked by an expert at least once a year and in case where it is necessary.
Any defective lashings which could pose a safety hazard should not
be in use, so inspect the lashings throughout their use.
DISCARDING FROM USE: Lashings should be discarded from use in the
following cases:
- Damage to lashing and visible damage to main part of the belt (exhaustion)
- The belt is cut by more than 0% across its width
- In case of exhausted or damaged belt pulley
- Deformation due to overheating (e.g.: friction, heat radiation)
- Damage due to chemical influence
- Cracks and deformation of metal parts (hooks and belt pulley)
All of the above stated damage (deformations, breaks, tears,...) require
discarding the respective lashing from use and replacement with a new
one. Lashings have a useful life of years. After this time, the manufacturer
should inspect them and may extend their useful life by a maximum
of years subject to them being in flawless condition.
CLEANING: If lashings come in contact with acid or lye, have a neutralizing
agent on hand - either water or other suitable agents. Upon
application, read valid safety at work regulations. Don0t wash the belts
with high pressure nozzles which could damage the belt and affect the
load-bearing capacity of the lashings. Muddy belts should be washed
with a mild water jet and air-dried. Metal parts of the lashings should be
lightly oiled, as this should prolong the useful life of the lashings.
STORAGE: Any lashings which are not in use should be stored in stainless
and clean shelves, in a dry and well ventilated place. They should be
removed from any heat sources, chemicals, smoke gas, rusty surfaces,
direct sun radiation or other sources of ultraviolet rays.
MAINTENANCE: Eventual repairs of the lashings should be carried out
by the manufacturer. Repairs should only be carried out on those lashings
which bear the name of the manufacturer, load-bearing capacity and
material. Repairs on joints are not permitted. Repairs of lashings should
be flawless.
