Soar *fr. Sobinson,
i'ou will find in our Waraaa Offloa, by applying to &r. Cohen,
the secretary, m fila Of the new* Bulletins issued by the Jewish Correspond
ence Bureau. As you probably know, this bureau maintains a Jewish Rasa
Service throughout the world and furnishes its bulletins to the Jewish
Trans for publication.
Kindly refer to the J.C.8. Saws Bulletin of February 8, 1922,
page 2, under Hand in? "Joint Reconstruction Bank In Poland held up", and yon
will find a garbled report of our last interview with the Finance Minister.
Flaaao refer also to J.C.B. Bulletin of February IS* 1922, on p&gc- 1, where
there is an item antltlad "Joint granta $75,000— for Beconstruction Vork in
/on will note that both said liana are dated Warsaw (J.C.B.
Cable Service). Fros this it appeara that there Is some leak in our
of floe from «hiRh the J.C.B. seearee this information in an unauthorised
Mi
and garbled assuter. $
Of course, yon know seat X an a crank on dielpline, and
applying ry dieiplinary notions to this particular natter, I ms of opinion
that such news In con action with our department oast be given out by no-
one in our of floe with the exception of its ranking head for the tine being,
in this ease, by Kr. Fraund whan neither yen nor 1 are In Warsaw, or by
either of us when we are there. 1 am quite sure by the contents of
these itena that they were not given out by Mr. Freund. and of course, not
by yourself. It Is therefore necessary to locate the person, either In
oar department In Warsaw, or among the members of the Executive Committee,
who la charging himself with the function of giving out snob unauthorised
news, and such person must be misled.
I would suggest that yen get in touch with the Warsaw represen
tative of the J.C.B., and arrange with him to submit for verification any such
Itime before publication.
Yours very truly,
