ASSOCIATION FOR CINEMA PROMOTION - ANEMIC
The Association of ANEMIC was established in 2005 in Florence
to promote high quality cinema. The Association focuses
especially on the works of young filmmakers, short and
medium length documentary and scientific films - those directions
in the cinema which despite their high cultural and
artistic value often encounter difficulties while occupying
their place in distribution and introducing themselves to the
wide circles of viewers.
The ANEMIC Association was named after Anemic Cinema,
the renowned film made by Marcel Duchamp in 1925 and its
symbolic name responds to the goals of the association. The
Florence Film Festival established by the ANEMIC Association
is held for the fourth time this year and consists of three
sections:
1. Vision off - preliminary show in the presence of the authors
(often the first works of the authors are presented in this section);
2. Sonar Film Festival _ moklemetraJiani filmebis
saerTaSoriso konkursi;
3. Omaggio _ msoflio kinematografis romelime
umniSvnelovanesi reJisoris filmebis Cveneba da

films;
3. Omaggio - the show of films of any of the world-wide renowned
directors and meetings dedicated to the author.
Further the ANEMIC Association takes part in the educational
and working events intended for the youth with audiovisual
and film materials prepared specifically for such cases.
We were pleased to accept the Tbilisi International Film Festival
offer about cooperation in organizing the section dedicated
to the Italian cinema. It is a great honour for us - representatives
of Italian cinema - to participate in such a prestigious
and interesting international event.
