THE TWO SPA<strong>IN</strong> / GEORGIA 2009<br />
Reality after the war between Russia and Georgia. A 15 years-old boy becomes a refugee and is<br />
forced to go for stay to his uncle in a mountainous place. The boy hardly manages to adopt to the<br />
new environment and his single uncle is left alone again.<br />
In parallel developes a story of a young couple going to marry. The boy is a taxi driver and the girl is<br />
a shop-assistant at a cell-phone store. They try to make life joyous but it remains monotonous and<br />
hard. Young couple breaks up.<br />

Madrid, 1979. In 1999 he dropped out of his Law degree to study Camera<br />
and Film Photography. In 2001 he shot Las huellas, his first short, produced<br />
by Aki Kaurismäki. Having worked in industrial video and corporate<br />
advertising, in 2007 he founded Kinoskopik S.L.L., and made Días de<br />
El Abanico, a documentary, and Ori, his first feature film.
