findings on the no-exposure day. Since the temperature measured before the experiment might<br />

affect the temperature during all exposure types, it was considered as a covariance. The adjusted<br />

tympanic temperature for group on the day of continuous and intermittent exposure were found<br />

to differ significantly from respective time periods during the sham day (Table 1).<br />
