(2) Proceedings Japan, China and Republic of Korea sat down at the same discussion table for the first time with an eye to providing data compliant with EAMIC Ver.1.0. As this was the first meeting to address the issues, it offered the opportunity to exchange opinions. During the first workshop, which was effectively the initial meeting on the road towards the provision of data by all three countries, the following details were confirmed. [Program outline] - Overview of EAMS activities - Report on the application of ISIC Rev.4 in each country - Anticipated issues when reconfiguring data to comply with EAMIC - Scheduled activities for the future As a result of the first workshop, all three countries are expected to commence preparations for the provision of data. (3) Summary of opinions exchanged during the workshop 1) Report from Republic of Korea (i) Classification in Republic of Korea (KSIC) Korean Standard Industrial Classification (KSIC) is revised in line with revisions to ISIC. The latest version of KSIC is the 9th revision, which was issued in December 2007 in line with revisions to ISIC in 2006 (ISIC Rev.4).
