Over the last months of last year,
Smithfield Romania employees
were invited to participate in a mascot
competition aiming at finding
the most representative emblem for
the company.
The participation was remarkable
and we want to thank those who sent
their works and proposals. We also
want to encourage you to further send
your “creations”, as Smithfield ROMa-
Nia Piggy Mascot is not over yet!

Competition for the children of Smithfield employees
The nicest piggy drawings!
We also continue the series of
competitions and artistic activities
for children with a new drawing
competition, launched within
Smithfield Group and intended for
our little artists at home: The nicest
piggy drawings competition!
In order to participate in this contest,
it is enough for your kids to want to
draw the cutest/funniest piglets – the
drawings/paintings may be sent to the
headquarters of each group company
(Communication /or HR department),
and the winners will be selected by a
jury from Smithfield Ferme and published
in our next newsletter, together
with the kids’ works.
The grand prize of the competition
consists of a complete painting set for
one winner. The remaining drawings
selected will be exhibited at Smith-
