Building systems evolve constantly, making more artisanal construction techniques a thing of the past and giving way to increasingly
lightweight industrially manufactured systems. Following this trend, Butech has developed the special prefabricated façade.
This type of façade features a rockwool panel core, with technical characteristics that ensure the necessary thermal insulation,
transferring the right amount of heat depending on the building’s climatic circumstances. For added thermal or sound insulation,
rockwool can also be used as a lining on the underside. Additionally, because part of the module covers the building’s fl oor slabs, its
thermal insulation eliminates the thermal bridge created at this point.
butech prefabricated façade panels are attached to profi les which in turn are anchored to supports that are connected to the fl oor slabs.
These supports make it possible to compensate for any possible diff erences in the fl oor slabs, as they can be adjusted horizontally and
vertically.
The outer face of the façade system is designed to create an air cavity, thus off ering all the benefi ts of a ventilated façade. Because this
outer face is clad, project designers can choose the ceramic tiles that best suit their aesthetic requirements.
In terms of fi re protection, one point to bear in mind with this kind of façade is the fi re resistance of the meeting point between the
building’s fl oor slabs and the façade modules. This is achieved by sealing this section with rockwool panels, guaranteeing the legally
required fi re resistance.
Another important aspect of this kind of façade is its watertight protection, achieved by incorporating all the necessary features required
for watertight performance.
In short, our system ensures an all-round ventilated façade solution, combining all the advantages of a ventilated façade with the high
standards and swift assembly of a largely prefabricated system.
