Improvement and Widening of Bagodara-Wataman-Tarapur-Vasad road [ State Highway – 8 ] The earlier presentation on the proposed improvement and strengthening of Bagodara- Wataman-Tarapur-Vasad road of state highway-8.included salient features like proposed Right of Way, Construction aspects, Existing land user pattern, need of the project, environmental aspects related to water and land etc. It was also informed by the project proponent that the proposed widening shall entail additional land acquisition. After detailed deliberations by the experts, additional Terms of Reference were prescribed 1. Detailed study flora & fauna of the study area and impact analysis due to proposed project 2. Detailed study on hydrology, drainage pattern of the study area and impact analysis due to proposed project and mitigation measures. 3. Land acquisition details and change in land use pattern due to proposed project especially with respect to agricultural land as well as likely impact. 4. Impact on water bodies surrounding the project site i.e. in study area due to proposed project.. 5. Top soil management plan for the proposed project. 6. Detailed Environmental Management Plan of the stone crushing plants, hot mix plants, Ready Mix Concrete plants that may come up temporarily for this projects. 7. Detailed Safety provisions proposed during the construction of the project.. 8. Bar chart of the project specifying time period. 9. Details on the consumption of water during construction and operation, source of water supply and permissions from the concerned authority in the case of ground water extraction. 10. Clearance from the Forest department for the existing tree cutting and details of compensatory plantation plan.
11. Detailed Environment Management Plan along with all proposed mitigation measures for both construction phase and operation phase. 12. Base line status of Ambient air quality and modeling indicating the likely impact on ambient air quality due to proposed activities in operation phase. 13. Detailed green-belt development plan. 14.
