07.08.08 Decision made not to proceed with the Kinship assessment of
Angela Jakes Maternal Aunt and her partner due to concerns
raised during the viability assessment concerning Angela’s
daughter aged 9.
12.08.08 Meeting with Mr and Mrs Green to address their irregular
contact with Jane. Tina said the sessions were too early in the
day. It was agreed that contact would stay at 3 times per week
but that they would take place later in the day.
25.08.08 Visit to Angela Jakes and her partner to inform her that the
Department would not be proceeding with the Kinship
assessment of them.
Wishes and feelings of the child 14
Not applicable. Jane is a young baby and is not able to express her wishes and
feelings.
CAFCASS Guardian’s views 15
The Guardian is in full agreement with the Local Authority’s plan to place Jane for
adoption.
