100 years of Brisbane Grade <strong>Cricket</strong> : Wynnum Manly Team of the Century.<br />
As part of the celebration of 100 years of Brisbane Grade <strong>Cricket</strong> each Club was asked to<br />
select their best team during that time. The following 12 players (in batting order) were<br />
selected. This team was recognised at a QCA dinner on 3 October 1997. Wynnum Manly<br />
had at that time been in the First Grade comp for 36 seasons. Statistics as at 23 March<br />

The Alun Patullo Memorial Trophy is presented to the player with the best performance each<br />
season. The trophy honours the memory of one of Wynnum Manly’s early players and greatest<br />

AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MEDAL<br />
In the year of 2000, the Australian government instituted the Australian Sports Medal to<br />
commemorate Australian Sporting achievement. At the end of 1999 we were asked to nominate<br />
those who were worthy of recognition for their contribution to the Club. This was a chance to<br />
recognize the contribution by often overlooked volunteers. The following members were<br />
nominated by the Club and received their medals at the Trophy night on 20 April 2001.<br />
