There are several ways to initiate
an antivirus scan and pattern file
update from the core.
The first, pictured here is to go to
the “Create a task” icon in the
Security Configurations tool, and
then select “LANDesk Antivirus
task”. This can be set up as a
scheduled push task or a policy,
with the option to run the scan with
different antivirus setting options,
