This tab is almost identical to the
Real-time Protection tab, however it
only applies to manual scans.
A manual scan can be initiated in the
following ways.
1. Double-clicking the shield icon in the
system tray and selecting “Scan my
computer”
2. Right-clicking a file, folder, or drive and
selecting “Scan for viruses”
3. A scheduled scan that runs from the
local scheduler on the client computer.
4. Selecting “LANDesk Antivirus Scan” in
the “Create a task” dropdown in the
Security and Patch Manager tool.
