3.10.3.1.7 Ending an Auto Span Procedure with Chains or<br />

Test Weights<br />

After Auto Span has been run using chains or test weights follow these steps:<br />

1. Press RUN<br />

The following screen displays<br />

Remove chains (or weights)<br />

before returning to<br />

normal operation!!<br />

RUN Menu<br />

2. Press RUN<br />

Totalization resumes and the Integrator returns to the RUN menu.<br />

3.10.3.1.8 Ending an Auto Span Procedure with R-Cal<br />

After Auto Span has been running using R-Cal, follow these steps:<br />

1. Press RUN<br />

2. The R-Cal relay is de-energized and the display is locked for three seconds.<br />

3. Press RUN<br />

Totalization resumes and the Integrator returns to the RUN menu.<br />

3.10.3.2 Manual Span<br />

If the span constant is known, the Manual Span procedure allows the operator to<br />

make a direct change of span. Use the following steps to enter the span<br />

constant.<br />

1. Press MENU until you are returned to MAIN MENU 2.<br />

The following screen displays:<br />

-- MAIN MENU 2 --<br />

Press MENU for more<br />

ZERO SPAN MAT’L<br />

CAL CAL CAL<br />

2. Select SPAN CAL<br />

The following screen displays:<br />

AUTO SPAN XXXX<br />

Run belt empty, then<br />

press START<br />

START EXIT MANUAL<br />

XXXX = R-Cal, Chains or Weights<br />
