Chapter 2 Installation 2.1 Safety Precautions This chapter describes the Integrator installation procedure, hardware configuration, and initial programming. Initial programming is a machine directed procedure prompting the operator to enter required conveyor and belt scale parameters. After all parameters have been entered, the Integrator performs an unassisted zero and span calibration. CAUTION DO NOT INSTALL, OPERATE, OR PERFORM ANY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS THAT FOLLOW. CAUTION DO NOT CONNECT POWER TO THE ELECTRONICS OR TURN ON THE UNIT UNTIL YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS ENTIRE MANUAL. THE PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES PRESENTED IN THIS MANUAL MUST BE FOLLOWED CAREFULLY IN ORDER TO PREVENT EQUIPMENT DAMAGE AND PROTECT THE OPERATOR. WARNING THE INTEGRATOR DOOR SHOULD ALWAYS REMAIN CLOSED DURING OPERATION, AND ONLY OPENED FOR MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
