defined. If a number higher than 1 is entered, the digital inputs for calibration<br />

selection can be defined.<br />

MAIN MENU 3 is used for protecting and un-protecting the system using<br />

passwords, and to perform diagnostic and test functions. The diagnostic<br />

functions can only be operated after removing all password protection, and<br />

should only be used by experienced technical personnel. Most test functions are<br />

not password protected.<br />

Changing the Protection Level<br />

The Micro-Tech 3101 has three protection levels to which specific passwords<br />

are related.<br />

Protection Password Status<br />

NONE SERVICE The system is completely unprotected; all data<br />

can be read or changed.<br />

LIMITED OPERATOR Operator functions and data are unprotected. All<br />

setup and calibration data are protected except<br />

zero calibrate.<br />

PROTECTED The system is totally protected, process data can<br />

be read, no change allowed.<br />
