During the Material Calibration procedure, the resolution of total tons<br />

counted is ten times higher than normal.<br />

5. Wait until all material has passed over the scale, press DONE.<br />

ABORT forces the program back to the top of the MATL CAL scroll.<br />

A.3.6. Entering the Reference Weight<br />

At the end of the test, the system asks the operator whether the (actual) weight<br />

of material is already known.<br />

YES NO<br />

NO – select no if the reference (actual) weight is not known for some time and<br />

the conveying systems need to be returned to run.<br />

The RUN screen displays MAT’L flashes to remind the operator that the<br />

material test is incomplete.<br />

Press MAT’L when the reference weight is known and the following screen<br />

displays:<br />

0000.00 Tons<br />

Enter reference<br />

weight 00.0 Tons<br />

ENTER ABORT<br />

YES – if the operator selected yes, the screen above displays.<br />

1. Enter the actual material weight in the same weight units, as the Integrator<br />

is setup to use.<br />

Example: Convert pounds to nearest hundredth (0.01) of a ton and enter<br />

the result if the Integrator is set up for tenths (0.1) of a ton increments.<br />

Material Calibration is running at 10 times normal.<br />

2. Press ENTER<br />

ABORT – if abort is selected the information acquired during the test is<br />

lost and the system returns to MAIN MENU 1.<br />
