2 Congratulations on your graduation! You have arrived at Level 4 of your walk at Unisa, the graduate and lifelong learning phase. You may have reached the conclusion of your studies, but this could also be a continuation, the next step in a lifetime of learning as a Unisa alumnus. Either way, your qualification will stand you in good stead whichever path you wish to follow. We wish you all the best. 1 Choose and apply At this stage, you choose Unisa, choose a career and a qualification, and apply to study through Unisa. Once Unisa has accepted your application, you then register. The products for this level of the student walk are known collectively as my Choice @ Unisa. 2 Registration At this stage, you must confirm your qualification, choose your modules for the semester or year, complete the registration form and pay the minimum fees. Once your registration is finalised, you can register on myUnisa to connect with the university and download your study material. The products for this level of the student walk are known as my Registration @ Unisa. 3 Teach and learn After registration, you will receive a study pack which will include your study material and a brochure called my Studies @ Unisa. This is where your studies begin. The brochure includes orientation information and study advice. You will also find out how to access your study material online. The products for this level of the student walk are known as my Studies @ Unisa.
4 Graduate and lifelong learning (you are now here) This brochure contains all your alumni and graduation ceremony information. Please read it thoroughly to make sure you comply with all the graduation requirements. If you do not comply, you may not be permitted to participate in your graduation ceremony. The Unisa Alumni section will take you through the benefits of being a Unisa alumnus and supporting the university’s vision: “Towards the African university in the service of humanity”.
