1. animals will be sold to the highest bidder.
2. disputes among bidders will be settled by the auctioneer by reopening bidding among
the parties involved. the auctioneer's decision shall be final.
3. terms of the sale are cash or check at the time of the sale, unless arrangements are
made prior to the sale. checks must be in u.s. Funds
4. all animals are guaranteed breeders. purchaser shall notify seller within 10 months fo
purchase date if the bull is unsatisfactory. bulls will be returned to prickly pear simmental
ranch at buyer's expense. seller has the right to semen check the bull if found to be
unsatisfactory. seller will replace the bull of equal value agreed upon by both parties or
return purchase price.
5. purchaser's risk begins as soon as the bull or heifer is sold. they will be cared for by the
seller at the purchaser's risk and expense, after sale day.
6. announcements form the auction block shall take precedence over material in the catalog.
7. For those who cannot attend the sale, we will honor a telephone order and guarantee
your phone purchase to meet your request when inspected personally by you.
8. certificates of registry will be supplied by the seller to the buyer.
9. delivery - We will assist buyers in coordinating shipments and making the cost economical
trucking arrangements as possible.
10. every precaution will be taken to protect the safety of buyers and spectators. However,
the seller assumes no responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise
in the in the event of an accident or loss of property.
11. We will abide by the rules set forth by the american simmental association.
12. as we have no control over the acts of God, we cannot guarantee these cattle against
death loss or sickness. We guarantee cattle to be healthy sale day. insurance is available
on sale day upon request.
13. all animals purchased by canadians will be taken care of free of charge until the health
papers are in order.
14. animals purchased and registered by simmental Juniors, 4-H or FFa members will receive
a 5% discount off the purchase price.
