mangrove. Feed on vegetable matter, aquatic insects, mollusks etc.<br />

Status : Of less concern. Specifically not mentioned but its family is included under Schedule<br />

Habitat : Tall evergreen forests. Frequently found in small flocks. Feed on wild fruits, drupes<br />

<strong>and</strong> berries.<br />

Distribution : India : <strong>Andaman</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Nicobar</strong> Isl<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

Status : IUCN : Near Threatened. Specifically not mentioned but its family is included under<br />

Schedule IV <strong>of</strong> IWPA. Excessive hunting <strong>of</strong> these birds brought them to threatening status.<br />

Status : IUCN : Near Threatened. Specifically not mentioned but its family is included under<br />
