Quick rules...
GET READY!
1. Shuffle the 4 decks
and stack each one
into the card holder
in the middle of the
board. You don’t need all
the cards for one game,
so leave about half of
them in the box…
2. Split into 2, 3
or 4 teams..
3. Each team takes a
‘Peanut Card’ showing which
combination of peanuts
they must collect to win.
Don’t show other teams
what’s on your card!
4. Decide which team will
go first.
Push the timer
down when challenges
have a time limit
Use the party-glasses
and the wax crayon
for ‘Cant’s see!’
challenges.
Draw decks go face
down on the board
- one for each
category colour.
Each team gets a
Peanut Card (no peeking!)
GET PARTYING!
5. When it’s your team’s turn, throw
the die The team on your right
takes a card from the top of the deck
that matches the colour you rolled.
Cards are always read to a playing
team by an opponent.
6. If the playing team carries out the
challenge successfully, they win a
matching peanut.
Whether they win a nut or not, play
always passes to the next team on
the left (clockwise).
WHO WINS?
7. The first team to collect all the
peanuts shown on their Peanut Card
Bring any party to life with the new, mad, bad Party & Co. EXTREME. It pulls
together challenges that will test your dexterity, your grey matter, your intuition
and creativity. Winning depends on what you’re made of, a touch of strategy
and a little bit of luck.
THE CATEGORIES AND THEIR CHALLENGES
Each card spells out what your next challenge is and how to play it. There are
four categories, each subdivided into three:
Quiz & Co Psycho & Co Show & Co
1. What do you know?
STRATEGY HINTS
During the game, you’ll start to see that you’ll have to be smart to mark your
card: filling in the spaces on your Peanut Card will mean rising to the right
challenges and getting them right, but also using each opportunity to scupper
your opponents and grab the peanuts you’re missing by playing the SURPRISE!
cards as cleverly as you can!
HOUSE RULES
For many of the categories, you’ll be free to agree how hard or demanding
you want to be for answers to count towards the scores. For instance, in
the ‘Hum it!’ game, you can insist players guess the tune, but also the artist
if this is shown on the card. In categories where words must be guessed,
you can decide whether matches must be exact or whether similar words
or synonyms will do. With the ‘Modelling’ test, there shouldn’t be any
movement allowed with the Flexpaghetti – unless you agree up front that
this is allowed.
WHAT ELSE?
Some answers to some common questions…
What if there’s a tie?
There’s nothing else for it… you’ll just have to play another game!
What if I win a challenge and there are no peanuts of that colour left?
If this happens, you are allowed to take a colour peanut that you need from
the team that has the most of that colour.
What if someone gives an answer that’s not an exact match to what’s
written down?
As we said before, teams are free to agree House Rules, but try to do so
before the game starts!
