<strong>Hebrew</strong> name: Kaph<br />

The <strong>Hebrew</strong> word for the palm of the h<strong>and</strong> is "Kaph".<br />

<strong>Hebrew</strong> sound: k, kh<br />

The <strong>Hebrew</strong> sound, written as "kh", is similar to the "ch"<br />

<strong>and</strong> is a hard guttural sound made in the back of the throat<br />

as in the German name "Bach" or the word "ich".<br />

The "k" is a stop consonant, while the "kh" is a spirant.<br />
