tool called a bow drill. The string of the bow is wrapped<br />

around the drill. By moving the bow back <strong>and</strong> forth, <strong>and</strong><br />

firmly pressing down, the drill spins around drilling the<br />

hole. The drilling takes patience as the process takes time.<br />

Rust bores through metal. Sick as a spinning of the<br />

insides. The spinning around in joy. An army bores<br />

through the enemy by strongly pressing in.<br />

was made by placing milk in a bag made out of the skin<br />

of an animal. The bag was hung out in the sun <strong>and</strong> pushed<br />

back <strong>and</strong> forth. The combination of the heat, churning <strong>and</strong><br />

the natural enzymes in the leather of the bag caused the<br />

fat (curds) <strong>and</strong> water (whey) to separate. The whey could<br />

be drunk <strong>and</strong> the curds eaten or stored for future<br />

consumption.<br />

nomads camp consists of many family tents which make<br />

up the clan camp. The camp can have as many as fifty<br />

tents or more in it. The tents are placed in a circular<br />

configuration, forming one continuous wall surrounding<br />

the camp. Within this wall is the family clan, a place of<br />

freedom, compassion <strong>and</strong> beauty. The first step to setting<br />

up the tent is to arrange the poles. The tent poles were<br />

sharpened at one end (<strong>and</strong> could be used as a weapon) <strong>and</strong><br />

were driven into the ground. An encampment of tents.<br />
