4. The meaning of the <strong>Hebrew</strong> pictographs of the parent<br />

root. This definition is based on the meanings of the<br />

two letters of the root. The letter is an ox meaning<br />

strong, <strong>and</strong> the is a wall, with a combined<br />

definition of "strong wall".<br />

5. An English word equivalent to the <strong>Hebrew</strong> meaning<br />

of the parent root. The concrete underst<strong>and</strong>ing of a<br />

strong wall is a "hearth".<br />

6. The cultural background <strong>and</strong> meaning of the <strong>Hebrew</strong><br />

parent root. All of the child roots <strong>and</strong> words derived<br />

from the parent will be related in meaning.<br />

Following the Parent Root Lexicon is a cross-reference<br />

table (Appendix F) for the <strong>Ancient</strong> <strong>Hebrew</strong> Lexicon <strong>and</strong><br />

Strong's Dictionary. By looking up the Strong's number<br />

in the Appendix you can find the Parent Root that this<br />

word is derived from. By looking up the Parent Root<br />

number you can find all of the <strong>Hebrew</strong> words, by Strong's<br />

number, derived from this root.<br />
