Distinguishing features: filaments generally<br />
unbr<strong>an</strong>ched, uniform in diameter along the length<br />
<strong>of</strong> the filament (except for the apical cell),<br />
chloroplast a dense network that <strong>of</strong>ten appears to<br />
fill the cell<br />
