It was wonderful to have 3 bathrooms in the Penthouse,<br />
we all could spend as much time as we needed in the<br />
shower, getting ready for dinner. Dinner was just suberb<br />
- a seafood platter - cooked to perfection, with fresh<br />
seasonal vegetables and an array of yummy deserts!<br />
So much nicer when you don’t have to cook it yourself.<br />
We spent the evening on the balcony, chatting, admiring<br />
the views, listening to life on the water.<br />
We all awoke on Sunday morning to a lovely sunny day<br />
again. Today we split into three groups. <strong>The</strong> older<br />
group had booked a cruise on the Macquarie Princess,<br />
a lovely tour and luncheon cruise up the river. Some of<br />

swim ladder and of course a BBQ. No<br />
licence is required to drive Ku-ring-gai this boat. It Chase National Park<br />
is safe for children having an all-round<br />
railing and is also wheelchair • friendly. No license required<br />
TINNIES<br />
<strong>The</strong> tinnies that are available for hire<br />
are fitted with 6 hp outboards. No<br />
licence is required to hire these boats,<br />
they are licenced for six people including<br />
children. Fuel is included in hire and<br />
lifejackets are supplied.<br />
KAYAKS<br />
We have single and double kayaks for<br />
hire. Both are very stable and ideal<br />
for beginners and for the calm waters<br />
found around Berowra Creek.<br />

the guys and the older children decided to hire kayaks<br />
and paddle downstream, and the last group decided to<br />
venture along the Great North Walk towards Crosslands<br />
Reserve.<br />
By the late afternoon, we all met back at the Berowra<br />
Fish Cafe for afternoon tea, before packing up to<br />
head home. We had a wonderful weekend at Berowra<br />
Waters. <strong>The</strong>re were so many things to do, such<br />
spectacular scenery, so many friendly locals. This was<br />
an anniverary weekend we will all remember for many<br />
years to come.<br />
