An Anniversary Weekend to Remember
When we were trying to decide where to hold our
wedding anniversary, I wanted somewhere we could
bring all the family. We all have such diverse interests,
so it was difficult pleasing everybody.... until I found
Berowra Waters and the Penthouse.
With 5 bedrooms, lots of bathrooms and a huge
entertaining area overlooking the water, all our needs
were met. We planned our weekend with the family, so
everyone could relax and enjoy their time here, and in the
evenings we could all come together for dinner, specially
prepared by a chef recommended by the marina.
The guys decided Saturday would be a great day for
fishing. They had already organised a fishing boat from
the marina and off they went early on Saturday morning.

That left us girls and the younger children. We took the
BBQ boat out for lunch. We had a leisurely drive up the
river, the scenery was just spectacular, and so many houses
with river only access! After about an hour we moored the
boat on a wonderful sandy beach. The children took great
pleasure in diving off the side of the boat, swimming
around in the clear water and generally just having fun.
The small beach inlet was fabulous. We sat, relaxed, read
and just watched the wildlife (which was more curious of
us, than us of them - until the children returned from the
water!). We fired up the BBQ for lunch and marvelled at
the children having so much fun. My parents sat snoozing
in the shade on the beach, pretending to read, but those
nodding heads said it all! After a fabulous day, we slowly
drove the boat back to Berowra Waters.
