A Golden Jackal (Canis aurus) in the Tollygunge Club<br />
Premises.<br />
The Jackal and the Club members accept each other in their<br />
social space.<br />
There are number <strong>of</strong> such water bodies in the Club. The wet<br />
slopes <strong>of</strong> such areas are <strong>of</strong>ten visited by the Jackals for their<br />
food like mollusks, frogs, insects etc.<br />
Number <strong>of</strong> locations has such Bamboo thicket, provide shelter<br />
to jackals and idle habitat for rodents a preferred food for<br />
jackals.
