Step No. Process Flow<br />

1 Prepare four volumes <strong>of</strong> ~38.81 kg sweet and creamy peanut butter up to the 2 nd grinding step<br />

2 Transfer one volume <strong>of</strong> ~38.81 kg sweet and creamy peanut butter to the cooling tank<br />

3 Add the fortificant to the peanut butter matrix while the peanut butter is being transferred<br />

to the cooling tank<br />

4 Get a small amount <strong>of</strong> peanut butter from the cooling tank and pour into the container <strong>of</strong> the fortificant<br />

5 Scrape <strong>of</strong>f adhering fortificant from the container with the use <strong>of</strong> a rubber spatula<br />

and add back to the peanut butter in the cooling tank<br />

6 Manually mix the fortificant with the peanut butter until no sign <strong>of</strong> the fortificant is visible at the<br />

surface <strong>of</strong> the peanut butter matrix<br />

7 Mechanically mix the fortificant-peanut butter mixture for ten minutes<br />

8 Add another volume <strong>of</strong> ~38.81 kg sweet and creamy peanut butter to the cooling tank<br />

9 Repeat Steps 3 to 9 until all four volumes <strong>of</strong> peanut butter has been transferred to the cooling tank<br />

10 Check product temperature if < to 60 o C<br />

11 If product temperature is > 60 o C, continue mixing until temperature drops to 60 o C> (Optional)<br />

12 If product temperature is < 60 o C, transfer product to the filler tank<br />

13 Mechanically mix the fortificant in the filler tank while filling in plastic bottles is on-going<br />

14 Remove entrapped air from the filled bottles using a vibrating machine<br />

15 Cover the filled bottles immediately<br />

Transfer the sealed bottles to a cold storage area (10 o C) until the product has set<br />
