iv. Co-ordination of controls throughout exercise – balance.<br />

ENGINE CONSIDERATIONS<br />

i. Temperature and pressures.<br />

ii. Throttle set for cruise power.<br />

d. SIMILARITY TO PREVIOUS EXERCISES<br />

i. Straight and level flight.<br />

ii. Effect of controls – adverse aileron yaw and rudder usage.<br />

iii. Use of trimmers.<br />

e. DE-BRIEFING AFTER FLIGHT<br />

1. Briefly recap on the exercise and emphasise the important aspects<br />

applicable to:<br />

i. Rolling into the level turn:<br />

a. Before commencing the turn the aircraft must have the correct<br />

speed and also be correctly trimmed.<br />

b. Co-ordination between aileron/rudder/elevator is essential.<br />

c. Follow the correct procedure for each flight control application:<br />

Change, check, hold, adjust. Do not trim.<br />
