i. Control column positioned as applicable.<br />

ii. Foot brakes on.<br />

iii. Throttle closed.<br />

iv. Parking brake released.<br />

v. Look out.<br />

vi. Foot brakes released.<br />

vii. Open throttle to overcome inertia.<br />

viii. Throttle back slightly – effect of inertia.<br />

ix. Dangers of misuse of power and elevator.<br />

STOPPING:-<br />

i. Close throttle.<br />

ii. Control column positioned as applicable.<br />

iii. Rudder bar central.<br />

iv. Intermittent braking .<br />

v. Parking brake on only after aircraft has<br />

stopped moving.<br />

vi. Throttle – holding R.P.M.<br />
