Remote Control Disable
The Remote Control Disable option sets the Energizer to ignore all Remote
Control signals and will prevent the Energizer from switching into Standby.
This feature can be used when it is important that the fence must not be
accidentally switched into Standby, eg. in a farm security installation. The
Remote Control Disable option is set via switch 2 on the back of the
Energizer.
Battery Use
Low Battery:
When the battery is low, the Energizer will automatically switch to Battery Save Mode (pulse every 2.7 seconds) to
conserve power.
Battery Save Mode:
Battery life can be extended with Battery Save Mode (pulse every 2.7
seconds) via switch 1 on the back of the Energizer. Mains/battery light will
always flash between red and green.
Battery Protection:
The Energizer automatically protects the battery from deep discharge by disconnecting the battery when it is flat.
(Deep discharge may cause permanent damage to your battery). The battery will be automatically reconnected
when the battery voltage increases.
WARNING!
It is not recommended to leave the battery charger permanently connected to the battery. During charging, place lead
acid batteries in a well-ventilated area. Do not obstruct the battery vents at any time. Do not use non-rechargeable
batteries. Do not connect to batteries of any other voltage (eg. 24/36V).

Important
Only use a battery which is suited to
back-up or cyclic applications. The
recommended type is a 12V deep cycle
lead acid rechargeable battery.
For improved battery life, keep the
battery fully charged and protect it from
temperature extremes. The Energizer
will not recharge a battery that has been
