Mikro Pulverizer Hammer Mills
Important Features
● high-performance
● grinding of soft to medium hard
products
● grinding, blending and dispersing
in a single operation
● rugged construction, safe in
operation
● easy cleaning and maintenance
● suitable for drying/grinding,
cryogenic grinding and inert gas
systems
Principle of Operation
The Mikro Pulverizer is a high
speed hammer mill for uninterrupted
production even under severe
conditions. The material can be fed
by infinitely variable feed screws,
suction feeding, air injection feeding
and gravity feeding.
The particle size reduction is caused
by impact between the rotating
hammers, the particles and a
deflector liner mounted in the mill
housing cover.
Mill Design:
SH, DH, TH, W
The product inlet is available with
screw feeders or gravity feeding.
The air required for grinding and
cooling enters the grinding chamber
through a lateral, adjustable air
inlet.
Mill Design:
SCB
Common product/air inlet. Depending
on application it is constructed
as a simple suction feeding or
with air injection.
The product/air mixture leaves the
mill through the retaining screen
fitted in the discharge end of the
mill.
Construction
● two piece grinding chamber
● rotor
● feeding device
● drive motor
● base
The standard mill housing is made
of solid gray cast iron. For certain
applications the mill can be designed
as welded units or made of
special materials resulting in gas
tight, pressure resistant or pressure
shock resistant. Rotor assembling
and mill housings can be supplied
with water cooling for high temperature
operation. Special inlet
manifolds can be provided for operation
with hot or cold air/gas supplies.
Rotor
Depending on application the following
rotors are available:
● LFS Stirrup Type Rotor
● Saw Tooth Rotor
● Knife Blade Rotor
Wide Fineness Variation
with changing of:
● rotor speed
● grinding tools
● air volume
● size of screen opening
Liner and Screens
Individual matching screens and
liners:
● Jump Gap Screen
● Herring Bone Screen
● Round Perforated Screen

Ready for Universal Operation
Applications
● carbon black production
● cosmetics and pharmaceuticals
● food and luxury food
● dye stuff
● plastics
● chemicals
● plant protectives
● resin
Cleaning and maintenance
● quick removal of grinding tools
● rapid opening of grinding chamber
● rotor easily removable
● all product contacted parts are
accessable
● problem free cleaning
