TIG Brief’s primary audience consists of commanders,
inspectors general, inspectors, and other Air Force leaders
at all levels of command to include supervisors and project
managers throughout the Air Force. TIG Brief deals with
overall leadership suggestions, important Air Force topics
for planning purposes, timely matters covered by laws or
regulations, changing policies and procedures, and encompasses
all Air Force functional areas. Four editions are
prepared yearly (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter).
Steps for Submitting Articles:
1. An article must be coordinated and approved at the
organizational level.
2. Once an article is submitted to the TIG Brief editor, it
will be reviewed for content.
3. Editor has the right to edit article as needed.
4. Average length of published article is one page (400-
600 words). Featured articles may run two pages in length
(600-1000 words).
5. Provide charts, graphics, and photos via separate file
and clear enough to make their message understandable.
6. Include author’s name, rank, and duty station.
7. Articles will be prepared in order to fit the magazines’
specification.
