HAV Labels<br />
Labels are manufactured from highperformance<br />
self-adhesive vinyl with hot<br />
foil impressed texts or logos, and overlaminated<br />
with clear polyester protection<br />
and wipe clean surface. All labels are<br />
individually cut for easy application.<br />
Labels supplied in full rolls of 500 or<br />
1000, or in strips of 20, 50 or 100. When<br />
ordering please add /20, /50, /100, /500<br />
or /1000 after reference number.<br />
Example: Quote ref: 44039/50 when<br />
ordering label 44039 and requiring a<br />
strip of 50.<br />
Hand Arm Vibration<br />
Legislation<br />
came into<br />
force in 2005<br />
regarding<br />
the exposure of workers to the risks of<br />
vibration in the workplace (The Control<br />
of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005).<br />
An important example of this is Hand<br />
Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) of which<br />
Vibration White Finger (VWF) is a feature.<br />
These labels enable employers to mark<br />
individual tools, showing their level of<br />
safe use. Supplied in full rolls of 500 or<br />
1000, or in strips of 20, 50 or 100.<br />

Sign size coding is made up in most cases<br />
of 2 letters. The first letter indicates the<br />
length, the second indicates the height.<br />
For example, if the sign size is RG, the sign<br />
will be 600mm length x 200mm height.<br />
