Hazard signs help to alert and warn of potential dangers.<br />

About Hazard Signs<br />

Within our Hazard Sign section most signs use supplementary text and have headings<br />

with the words Danger, Warning or Caution dependent upon the severity of risk. These<br />

words can be defi ned as follows:<br />

Danger<br />

• Used for a high level of risk which, if not avoided, may result in death or serious<br />

injury.<br />

Warning<br />

• Used for a medium level risk which, if not avoided, may result in injury or death.<br />

Caution<br />

• Used for a low level risk which, if not avoided, may result in minor injury.<br />
