Over the next 8 pages are a selection of signs that we have created
due to the large demand from Quarry customers for an industry
specific collection of signs.
Included are our new Boundary signs (see page 114). Quarries are among some of
the most hazardous environments, so it is essential that potential dangers are clearly
marked. This range is designed to help you protect, not just the public, but yourself
and your employees. Under the Quarries Regulations 1999, Quarry operators have a
responsibility to ensure adequate measures are taken to safeguard all persons. The
instruction conforms to British Standards BS5499, whilst the signs are enhanced by the
site specific graphics which highlight the dangers in a more visual manner.
