Aerodynamically shaped Inlet Guide Vanes (IGV’s) improve part<br />
load operating efficiency by 9 % versus traditional throttle valve.<br />
High strength Phenolic coating on all internal air passages (including<br />
coolers) for comprehensive corrosion protection.<br />
Premium ferritic stainless steel intercoolers (and optional aftercooler)<br />
provides unmatched corrosion protection and maximizes<br />
long-term machine efficiency and reliability. SS tubes are straight<br />
thru design, and fully roddable in place. Tubes are robotically welded<br />
to SS endplates (in inert argon atmosphere) to eliminate possibility<br />
of leaks. Our coolers are a testament to the superior design<br />
and quality that is built-in, as standard, to every ZHC machine.<br />
Process-duty, horizontally split flexible pad journal bearing<br />
with integral tapered land thrust faces on high speed shafts. Horizontally<br />
split journal bearing on low speed shaft.<br />
Superior AGMA Q-13 class gearing (aircraft quality) feature higher<br />
tolerance, lower noise level, lower friction losses and vibration<br />
versus competition.<br />
Double patented seal system provides long lasting performance<br />
(floating carbon ring air seal, labyrinth oil seal).<br />
17-4 stainless steel impellers with state-of-the art<br />
geometry for highest operating efficiency and large turndown<br />
range.<br />
100 % maintenance-free, dry flexible disc type coupling<br />
provides maximum up-time. No shutdowns required for<br />
re-greasing.
