COLARIS digital textile printing line for pre-treated flat textile based on cellulose, wool, silk,
polyester, polyamide and Lycra blends which can be printed with Reactive, Acid or Disperse
inks.
For fashion, apparel, home textile, upholstery, decorative fabrics, flags & banners, interior
decoration fabrics, window fashion, sun blinds and shades, camping articles, automotive and
many more.
COLARIS - STANDARD
COLARIS in combination with Magnoroll in line pre-treatment system.
The Magnoroll acts bi-functional: It is used to pre-treat the fabric and acts as penetration enhancer
on heavy products without increasing ink amount.
This reduces process cost dramatically and increases penetration and fastness. A seperate padder
pre-treatment is not needed anymore. This is an ideal combination for prints on heavy upholstery
fabrics incl. linen, velvet and flock fabrics. Also penetration on flags will be improved
dramatically.
COLARIS - INLINE PRE-TREATMENT
COLARIS concept for a terry towel print line:
Un-batching unit, Magnoroll inline pre-treatment, a special entry unit for terry towels, printer
with 4, 6 or 8 colors with towel floor detection followed by a 3 pass dryer with fabric plaiter.
With this line terry towels out of cotton can be printed with highest penetration and with designs
centred on terry towels. The steaming, washing and drying process for reactive inks is done offline.
COLARIS - TOWELS
Un-rolling, Magnoroll inline pre-treatment, COLARIS printer,
steamer with saturated steam, washing unit with spray-vacuum
combination, 3-pass dryer followed by a roll-up unit.
This line can print and finish any pile products out of polyamide
(Nylon) using acid inks in one go.
Ideal for flocked floor coverings, flocked or velvet upholstery and
automotive fabrics, needle punch products or low pile carpets.

Costs shown in graph illustrate total printing costs incl. ink, labor, utility and energy costs,
as well as interest on capital, depreciation, estimated service and spare parts costs. Filling
2 x 4 colors doubles capacity and brings down costs by approx. 20%.
For screen printing costs no special pre-treatment has been calculated.
The post print process is not included, but is to be calculated identically for inkjet printing and
screen printing.
