Traction cable winches are real work animals. They must therefore be robust and effi cient. During a self-rescue
operation on diffi cult grounds, the salvaging of fl oatsam in the water industry, or during logging operations in
the forest you have to be able to rely on your winches.
This is why Werner has been manufacturing well-designed and robust winches for many years now. The robust technology

Traction cable winches have unlimited applications. Werner will make you the right winch for your specifi c use.
For a use in forests your winch must move heavy loads
over great distances. For this purpose, our winches
have an ergonomic ratio between cable diameter and
traction force.
Especially with great cable lengths we especially focus
on the cable spooling of our traction cable winches. To
allow an active winding of the cable we have already
invented the cross thread spindle many years ago. This
assures a tidy drum which goes easy on the cable.

The neutral gear position of the drum, for example,
makes it easier to pull out cable in diffi cult grounds in
forest opera tions. To avoid dangers from sloping
loads, the cable drum of these winches can still be
disengaged with a load.
Maintenance work in the water industry can be carried
out quickly and safely with slope supports.
TIDY: Great lengths of cable are especially important in the water industry. Our winches with their cross thread
spindles actively wind up the cable onto the drum thus keeping it tidy and reducing the wear of the cable.
